Two New Betta Pictures

I was never able to get a picture of Valentino flaring, I finally got a half flare last night..

And introducing my first non-crown tail Gandalf....a white one that is still to happy to be out of a cup to flare

OMG Gandalf is AWESOME!!!!! His color is fantastic! Where did you find him??? I must find one like him...

Heather, Gandalf came from Petco belief it or not....his colors came out a bit odd in the picture....he is really almost solid white except for the tinges of turqoise on his fins.

Thanks....I hope to get a nice picture flaring soon...tried the mirror but so far he's not too interested in doing much other than swimming and eating.

Valentino is a handsome fellow, but ooo would I melt over Gandalf. What a gorgeous guy.

Thanks Bettalove....I must admit I am a bit surprised by the response to Gandalf. Although he is a nice looking betta I find Valentino's picture so much better to look at. It looks as if he is floating in space.

I got Gandalf as a birthday present with tank from my daughter. She thought since I was getting old I should have a white betta..

Thanks for all the nice comments, my daughter will be quite pleased that the betta she bought me has received so many comments.

She is 16 and gets a kick out of her old man "playing with fish". When I told her that my first betta won the BOTM contest she thought I was kidding that there was such a contest. Last night I told her that there were several nice comments about Gandalf and her first question was "Will he win BOTM"? I had to laugh because at first she thought the contest was so silly.

And yes, Gandalf does own his little world like in LOTR
