Two 10gallon Tanks

My first tank i've had for over a year, and got addicted so i bought another..
also my tank started to get wayy overstocked!
so i told my mom i had no choice but to let me have another!
I was thinking of have female/male guppies split
but i'm not really sure, i have my list of fish in my signature
bear in mind that i already know that it's overstock, as well
one tank is by a window,
so it will get more algea than the other so would the bristlenose go in there?
or should the cories go in there?
Please respond asap since i've waited about 1-2months already because of the cycling time.
And i would like to get it ready!
(i already know my female/male ratio is way off--but that was from natural causes]

defo split the guppies, put the bn in the one near the window and the cory's in the other, put the fry in the female tank then remove males as they develope, if over filtered and the maintainece is kept constant then there shouldn't be a problem then you can later sell on some of the fry or give them away

How many fish do you have in your 10gallon tanks and what types and sizes? IMHO, A bristlenose pleco will grow too large for a 10gal.

10 gallon:
4female guppies
9twoweek old fry
5-10justborn fry
3peppered cories

10gallon:
13male guppies
1bristlenose pleco

that's what it's at, at the moment that is.

also, bristle nose plecos grow to about 5" and i've had mine for quite a while already, and they said he was at the petstore for about a year...and he's only about 3 inches.
so he's definetly not going to grow to the whole length that it says he will.

Habit of not reading through posts? Habit implies that someone does it a lot, which is certainly not true. You say "no offense" but you know what you are saying is offensive, you should be thankfull that people are willing to try and help you, asking someone for their stocking when they already have it in their sig is hardly a big error, you don't need to get on your high horse and start being insulting .
Sorry but it really annoys me when people nit pick at small errors so they can be insulting towards others. I spend a great deal of my time trying to help people here, how about next time i point out all your spelling mistakes?
You should learn to be more tolerant of others trying to show their good will to you by taking the time to try and help you .

I'd be more tempted to move the fry into the male tank- you'll probably endup with less fry in the long run. My thinking currently goes that if you put the fry with the females, as soon as the males are sexually mature they have the run of the females, whereas adult male guppies are probably less likely to mate with only-just mature females- meaning it's easier to seperate them out before you get too many pregnancies. Plus I'd imagine males are more likely to predate on fry.

Just thought i'd say something that may be helpful, might miss out on some good information. Didn't mean to be offensive, but i wouldn't have said it if you were so sensitive. And i don't find taht being insultive..
