Twitching Head

I have a male platy that will occasionally twitch his head to the left. Not sure what it would be. Internal parasites or just a twitch?

Tank size: 2ft x 15in x 18in
pH: 8 (Adding chemicals to put this down.)
ammonia: 0.1 mg/l
nitrite: 0.0 mg/l
nitrate:50 mg/l (Adding chemicals to put this down.)
tank temp: 27degrees/80F

Tank inhabitants: 1x male platy, 1x silver tipped tetra, 2x Kuhli loach

You have a slight ammonia reading there water change.
Check his gills over to see if there pale with excess mucas on them or red and inflamed.
