I have a twig catfish and I just noticed yesterday that it has two white bubble forms on the back of his tail. I am not sure what this is but he is an awesome fish and I don't want to lose him. any kind of info you may have will be helpful.

any chance of a picture to help with the id
my cd drive is broken and I can't get the drives to my camera on the computer. It's a big white blotch that's taken over his tail at the very end. It looks like it's filled with puss.

sounds bizarre, not sure, sorry
It could be a big lump of fungus or excess mucous. It hasn't got a clump of filter floss stuck on its tail by any chance.

it could have, however i am noticing that some of my other fish have ragged back fins. I am guessing that they probably have fin rot.
