anyone have info on these
and what fish they cannt go with

I have one, but they are not suitable for 10 gallons - if that's what you want to know -_-
You can do a quick google on some info - there is plenty on the web - but here's a quote taken from this website.

and is not recommended for beginners, for several reasons. The fish rarely moves, is very sensitive about water conditions and intolerant of contaminants and untreated water. An extremely peaceful fish, it will not disturb even the most sensitive of other fish, but it is suceptible to being picked on itself by more aggressive fish.

no 15gallon
sos that link wont work can you pm me the WHOLE link thanks

does it move a lot

The link works fine if I click on it -_- but here you go http://www.aquahobby.com/gallery/e_farlo.php :)
these fish are very sensitive and require perfect water conditions. Certainly not a new tank or tank under 6 months of age - and it has to have perfect and stable parameters. I would say the bare minimum size is 20 gallons - other might even say more.

ok are these common fish
i really want one lol

My lfs has them all the time - so from my point of view, yes they are common here in London (UK). If you buy one under your current circumstances you will lead it to it's death :/ and that's all I have to say on the subject.

That website also says the tank needs to have algae in it already because the Farlowella cat is lazy and wont search for food when they are first introduced to the tank. I saw some of these at the LFS the other day and came home and did research on them and also found them to be very sensitive and decided not to get one.

'a bit of algae' will not do. Because what will you have left after he eats that? No algae, I can tell you that.
A 15G is also not big enough for them. And your water can not be fine yet. It takes up to 2 months to cycle a tank bettas, not 2 weeks. Plus they're sensitive fish, which means you want to put them in a lightly stocked tank, as opposite of your overstocked tank. They'll require a tank that has been set up for at least 6 months, in which you won't have a chance as high as you have that it will go into a mini-cycle again or that your water parameters change. He'll also Need de-chlorinator.

Untill you have de-chlorintor, a bigger and fully cycled tank, more filters and good knowledge about fish ... you should not be getting any more fish.

Sorry, but I've told you this many times already, on the forum, in PM and on msn ... if you're willing to mess around with the lives of fish that much, you're better off getting yourself a plant indeed. And even that will need looking after.

Well said and totally agree.
