Hello all,
As you may have seen i posted an earlier post about powerheads and was looking at seio ones but after some comments and furhter investigation i have decided that tunze are better quality and have a considerably lower energy consumption so i have decdided to go with them (glad i asked you guys before i went ahead and ordered seio).
I was wondering to start with would 2 tunze turbelle stream 6060 's be ok (my tank is six foot long and one would sit at each end), they give a flow rate of 6000lph giving me a rough turnover of 20x per hour, (my display tank is just over 600liters). Also my sump return pump is 6500lph and does not have to push upwards very much as my sump will be situated at about the same height as my tank (on opposite side of wall) and the pipes come up through the base into a long spray thats sits along the bottom and sprays through the live rock so this could add to tank turnover i guess
what do you think?
Thanks for looking
