Hey! I'm back again. I just got a 30 gallon tank from my GF since she upgraded to a 55G tank. I love the bettas Male + Females. Everytime I walk into Petsmart or other petshops, I see them keeping all these bettas in a dinky cup, and i feel really bad for them. So I was wondering if is possible for me to get maybe 5-10 females and keep them in the same tank. And here is an update pic for Cammy since she asked for it on my other thread :D.

If you go by the inch per US gallon rule most females max out around two inches so you could get 15 in there. plus the more females in the tank the more spread out the aggression is.

So would it be ok if i get about 10 females in the 30 gallon tank?

Thanks Cammy :D. Will post pics of the new tank and females once everything is set up! Thank you again guys.

Heya
I have a female tank with 5 females and they all get on really well.
Ive found adding them all at the same time if you can is best as no one had a dominant area if you cant do that when you get your first bunch let them settle ect but then when you get your next few to add move a few things around i.e. plants, hidy holes ect so its like a new tank for the lot
Hope this helps

Thanks :D, got my tank set up already, gonna go pick out the female bettas tomorrow @ petsmart :D. Will post pics once i set everything up!
