Trying To Find Some Compatible Fish

Hello! I am trying to find a few fish that I can put with the current fish I have now. I have a 6-8 inch Pacu and what we believe is a Jack Dempsey (he is about 3-4 inches). I have them in a 55 gallon tank pretty basic setup. Does anyone have any ideas as to what else I could put with them? I appeciate any suggestions you have. Thank you.

Hi Poogirl and to the forum

What kind of Pacu do you have as you may already be overstocking your tank. I think the minimum tank sizes for pacus vary greatly from 50g minimum to 250g minimum depending on species and current size (can always upgrade but should only by these fish if you are prepared to do that).

Plus I think it's absolute minimum of 30g for a single Jack Dempsey.

Make sure your read as much information as you can and then ask the other fish question - but be prepared to duck if you do.
