i got a couple fry back from a friend after i got the 10 gallon tank..but now i found a couple more fry in mmy plants which was random cause i dont recall having a fish give birth..maybe it was my balloon molly..well anyway i took a bowl about 1 gallon i used to house bettas in and i took just 3 fry and put em in there with no filter and no heater...its getting rlly hot out now and my fish dont need a heater anymore cause the water gets to 83 alone!! so if these couple survive i will take my juvenile male and juvenile female and let them have their own babies when they get a bit older..they will be 5 months tomorrow and r pretty big but still small..tell me if this is bad or if someone tried this already...

fish can live with no filter and no heater but to do this you still need to keep it at the correct temp- and water changes are very in portent i don't recommend it,

In my backyard, and front porch we have dark colored, tall, deep, and heavily planted vases with tons and tons of guppy/platy fry! During the winter we take them inside and simply put heaters in there. As long as water changes are frequent(since yours is only a 1 gallon fish bowl) and you monitor the temp they should have no reason to stop breeding. We've had these vases for over 7 years and have only bought fish once or twice (to add genetic variety in the strains). You should try the standing vase/pot idea.. It is absolutely beautiful!
