Is it ok to feed my cold water fish tropical flakes?
I bought 2 large tubs of Nutrafin Max from E-bay a while ago for a really good price and have been feeding both my tropical tank and cold water on the flakes.
I'm just wondering if feeding the cold water on the tropical flakes will have any harmful effects in the long run and are they getting enough protein etc.
They seem fine and love eating them plus I've got 4 weather loach in with them so they love it naturally.

Why do i waste my time on here?
Suppose it's time to Google it....meh.

I think it is more important to see if a food meets the needs of the fish in the tank. A lot of fish are ominivores and will eat both plant and meat based foods, but some fish have special needs. For instance, adding meaty food to a Tropheus spp. containing tank can end in disaster, because the cichlids could die from bloat.

Thanks buddy
