Hey im after a few tropical crabs for my aquairium can anyone point me in the right direction thanks in advance

I bought my vampire crab from maidenhead aquatics. But they aren't ideal in a community tank they need a dedicated set-up. That's what I've been told but mine live happily in my community tank

I was looking at these in my lfs yesterday. I sooo wanted two but they can't go with any other bottom dwellers so I didn't get any.

Not to long ago i had two freshwater red claw crabs in my community and when i had issues with fin rot the crabs may of been a factor as even tho i didnt see it they could of been nipping my b/n plec which left a wound for fin rot to develop which then spread to my other fish.

When i saw the crabs in the lfs i thought they were pretty cool and i had kept one in the past with no probs but i had no bottom dwellers in the tank then either. I lost around 80% of my fish due to fin rot and its taken what seems like forever to sort it out. personnaly ill never put crabs in the community again to be on the safe side.
