Tropical Crabs !

Well to start with i was wondering if i could have a crab in with my fish tank, i already have 6 guppies, 4 rummy-nose tetras, 2 angel fish and also a pleco. I do think that one of my angel fish have attacked a guppy and i am worried that it is going to do the same to my pleco . I am getting a real plant as i have none at the minute but when i do i am really tempted to get a crab but i don't know if the crab will attack any of my fish or tear and rip to shred the plant !! any ideas on what to do would be most appreciated and has anyone else had these (or similar) problems
