I have just bought a Tripod fish but can't find any information about it apart from the fact it grows to about 20cm

Any further info would be appreciated

I've "heard" of these fish but haven't seen anybody keep them. They seem a little like a filefish and are one of the "other" tetraodonts, family Triacanthidae. Try feeding it mysids or nori.

Feeding doesn't seem too much of a problem - it's already feeding well on frozen foods

My daughter spotted it in the shop and was really taken by it

I'd definitely offer nori or maco algaes though, with a mouth like that it seems like a fish that would enjoy vegetation.

u were correct - it does like nori

Also likes most frozen foods

It's a good eater and I hope to get it eating flake
