Trip to Skansen Frogs, Fish and Spiders

Also at Skansen there is a kind of reptile/fish house that you can go to. There were quite a few reptiles that I didn't take pictures of like snakes and lizards. I also didn't have enough time to take pictures of the fish as they were closing and we had to leave

First up are the frogs

Here are this years cuban alligators (or caimans..I can't remember)

And here are the parents I believe

I REALLY want a Dart frog. I guess I'll have to make due with my Rice Paddie Frogs.

Man, you should've warned us about the spiders! I just screamed and made the cats fall off the sofa!!! Wonderful pics!! Just love the colours of the frogs, so intense.

Hmmm...if thoseare the parents, then they're definately alligators. If they're not the parents, then my first guess would have been caiman...

Puffer_freak - I'm not sure if those are the parents I was just assuming they were. I'm begining to think maybe the two little ones are caimans brought in from another zoo or something

Oh, yes, you did!! Sorry ) ) . That last spider pic really seems to jump out the screen at you! Cool spiders, but really love the frogs!

The colors! I've never seen frogs like that! (Except the tree hugger frogs over here)

can you believe when i was spending my summer in colombia (My home contry) I went on the roof of my uncles home which had a plastic sheet on it thet retained water and i cought a whole bunch of those little frogs. Not knowing they were piosonus. Thank god i didn't get sick.
edit: let me clear up i was like 8 or 9 so i had no idea

Well those frogs are usually from the Amazon rainforest...

All i remember is that they were little colorful frogs. Oh and i'm talking about the Colombia in South america.

It's quite possible then (sorry, I never pay attention in geography...). I'd love to see frogs like that in the wild!
