Fish Fanatic
I have some Brazilian Elodea, Anacharis (Egeria densa) growing in my aquarium. It is growing like crazy and starting to take over my tank. I don't want to get rid of it, just trim it back a little. I was wondering though to you trim it from the top of the bottom? Outdoor plants you trim from the top, but I didn't know about aquatic plants as I would be trimming of the newest greenest and healthiest parts. The bottom parts look pretty ragged. Some of them have grown roots, others haven't.
Anyway, if someone could answer this soon I would appreciate it, as I need to clean my tank today. Going out of town tomorrow and want it fresh for the fishies.
