just curious, anacharis is essentially a stalk plant, If i Just cut it in half will that kill the plant or would I expect new growths on what I cut? I wouldnt be cutting anything less then 12 inches in heighth

thanks

i don't think it will kill it, i cut mine and then planted the part i cut and every thing looks fine

the reason I ask is because I could essentially turn 20 anacharis plants into 40

many of the plants are over 10" or 25.7 cm (yes I cought the conversation on metric/imperial)
BTW just added the nutrafin co2 system, how long does it take for the yeast to start making gas?

The first time I did this I used the sachets and followed the instructions and 24 hours later no bubbles!!

I usually get bubbles within an hour. When washing out the 'bottle' I rinse with hot water so it's warm. It says to use 30 degrees water, I add my water and test by touch. If the water is too hot I think it can kill the enzymes or yeast. If it's too cold it'll take longer to get going.
