Trim Narrowleaf Or Needleleaf Java Fern

Hey Guys

Just wondering how (if possible) can you trim Narrowleaf Java Fern?
I recently put some in my tank but the leaves are just too large!

Cut with scissors at the bottom of the leaf as close to the rhizome as possible.
