Trim Moss?

i have some moss in my low light, no CO2 tank. they grow ok, but there are some problems.

first, they look like a mess, never had haircut though, do i need trim them? how?

second, i notice moss in the pic here , the color are always very green, but my moss is very dark color, even some brown. does this because of the low light? i used to keep moss in high light tank, but ends up with hair algae.

Just give it a hair cut with some kitchen scissors, its easy

Yeh its probably brown due to the lower light level.
