Hi iam new to this and have just purchased a jewell trigon 190 and was wondering do i need to put something between the tank and cabinet. thanks.

nope if its anything like my new rio 180 it has a frame around the base of the tank. somewhere in the manual it say you dont need anything under the tank

Agreed. Unnecessary.

I've had Juwel tanks for years and never used anything like that. No problems.
