Hello I'm tring to treat a bosiemian rainbow fish for gill parasites. I treated him with a medicine called General Cure for parasites, there capsules that you break open and pour into the tank. It says right on the package that they treat parasitic gill disease. I've already completed the treatment but it seemed to have very little to no effect on the fish. So this has gotten me really confused, should I repeat the treatment or find a different medicine? If i should use a different medicine which ones work?

Thanks for the link Wilder :) . I'm almost sure that my fish has gill flukes, one of it's gills is very swollen and discolored. The other one is fine and it eats swims around and isn't overly active. It does act a little iritated and it's loss a lot of it's body color. so some more questions I have are can gill flukes affect one gill and not the other and is there something besides gill flukes that can cause there gills to become swollen?

Yes i would think so that it can only affect one gill, like we can have infection in one eye and one ear without the other being infected, is water quality fine in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
