Am going away for a few days and my tank did have whitespot but since yesterday there have been no visible signs of spots on fins etc but I read you should still continue with treatment for a few days after the last visble signs of whitespot. the problem is I am going away Friday - Wednesday will it be okay to leave whitespot treatment in the tank for another 5 days??? currently its been in the tank since Monday, I am using API whitespot treatment. Also would it be recommended I put my carbon filters back in the filter?

I have bought an automatic feeder to they will feed okay.

Thanks

Lex

I think I would do a water change and add some black carbon.
Best to follow meds instructions. If you can't leave the med in five days, don't.

I did a 25% water change and added the carbon filter and returned back today and didn't find any white spot, but what I did find was my gourami had gone behind the back of my Fluval U2 Filter and had broke his neck where he had got stuck and probably tried to get out.

Or bless him.
R.I.P.

When you leave fish there always a worry that something will happen while you are away.
So sorry.
