I picked up a group of frontosa in pretty poor condition, signs of HITH on bigger ones and covered in bite marks and all had torn and ripped fins. I have run a course of Melafix for the wounds which are healing brilliant. I am doing daily waterchanges and the holes have gone from the size of a pin head to a pin hole. However on 2 of the larger ones (about 7")they each have what I can only discribe as a single pimple type growth at the site of a scar, there is no fungus growing out of it, but both are "twitching" as if the pimple is irritating, I have noticed on one of the smaller ones 3" a single sugar grain size white spot, but this fish is not flicking or twitching just the larger to with the pimple. I cant find out if ick is larger on larger fish or the same size. Just wondering if I should treat as a precaution, would it harm?
All now have good colouration and are all feeding well, water stats are spot on for them.
