I have a Cichlid. I am not sure exactly what kind. I have had him for about 4 years and he is the only one in the tank. He got stuck in an ornimental jar in his tank. He was stuck for about 14 hours. After many attempts to free him, I finally took him out of the tank after filling the sink and treating the water and placed him in there and tried to break the jar. It didn't work. 
Anyway, I was able to get him free after gentley pushing him through the opening. He lost a lot of scales and did stustain some wounds. I got him back in the tank and started Metafix that night. He has started swiming around again but still won't eat. His wounds now have fungus looking cotton growing on the wound. What kind of antibiotics should I use for this? I really don't want his to die. Thanks for any help.
