Trapped danio

I just rescued a danio that appeared to be trapped under a plant in the tank. To my knowledge it was under it for quite some time. The fish's tail is very damaged, it doesn't seem to be using one of it's side fins, and there seems to be some scrapes or something wrong with it's scales at the top of his body. I think the damage to the tail and possibly the top of its body was done by my pleco or my semi-agressive gourami. The fin damage I believe was from being trapped. I put some anti-fungus to help clean out any wounds and intend on adding some aqua salt, but should I take the hurt danio out & place it in a bowl? Is there anything else I can do to help it's recovery??

Souldn't added the fungus med, just some salt if you had no scaless fish, turn lights off to let him settle down, hope he pulls through.
