Transfering fish

Hi guys later today i will be moving my two goldies to my large tank. what is the best way to transfer them. the tank they are in is right next to the new one. can i net them and put them in cheers

i netted them in the end.

i feel so bad for putting them through that but i hope they know its for the best as they are gonna have so much more swimming room and better filtration
