Hi all

I've just started dosing tpn+ daily to my new setup, i transferred my mature filter media over to my internal filter that runs the length of the hood and im also running an external.

I know that its possible to have a slight reading after doing a move but do you think tpn+ could be giving me an ammonium reading. For the last two days that i've tested ive got 0.5 for 'ammonia'. Should i rely on these results now that im heading for planted as i heared you can get false readings?

Fish are alot more active than they've ever been, colours are bright and appetite very healthy. They always shoot straight to the front as soon as i open the hood in waiting for food.

Do I have cause for concern or should i let things be?

Thanks

Personally i wouldn't be concerned with that when dosing TPN+, as it contains ammonium which registers on the test kits you find at LFS. I would be doing water changes of around 20% daily,bi-daily. :good:

This is my only test kit. Costs nothing and takes no more effort than opening my eyes and viewing. don't even need to get out of the chair. Plus its 100% reliable and accurate :)
