top fin of my molly

Hi

I just have this doubt. There are times in which the top fin of my male molly is fully "extended" and sometimes it looks almost as a females top fin, you know, shorter.

Is there a logical explanation for this?? should I be worried when its gets shrinked??, or is it just a natural thing??

Does the dorsal fin have a white or clear edging to it, does it look stredded.

I don't know what you mean by "stredded" but it looks normal to me, you know, when it's fully extended, and I can't really tell about the white edging since it is a silver molly so its body its completely white ) but there are no visual signs of desease, fungus or anything like that.

Like I said this happends only some days and for a couple of mins, and I'm just wondering if its a normal behavior.
