dose anyone use the proper aquascapeing tools? or do you just do it by hand?
personally i use nail scissors. just wandered if anyone has used the right tools?

also wave scissors. do they help a lot? (for HC and riccia)

I have Dwarf Hair Grass and I just use normal scissors.

I use 30Cm angle-tipped tweezers and a 30Cm pair of scissors, standard scissors are fine as long as they're very sharp but personally I prefer those designed for the job as they're generally sharper and more suited to the job, a good clean cut to a plant will heal much more quickly than a cut done by blunt scissors as it bruises the plant. You can't beat a pair of long tweezers either, you can plant your plants without being up to your elbows in water, easy.

I need to get me some of those.

i dont like using tweezers for planting. i feel like im squishing the plant. i like planting by hand.
but it might be hard to cut the HC with normal scissors

i use the Inox JBL scissors and tweezers, i did get them cheap though. I would probably go for the cheaper japanese tools if i was to buy again though.
