took the parents out today.jewels.

Hi everyone

it has been 13 days since my Jewel cichlids eggs hatched and the fry look like proper fish now and can eat and do everything for themselves now, so i decided to take the parents out. theyre back in thje 40 gal and the male is already trying to impress the second female but the mother female seems to be looking for her fry.was it a good idea that i took them out?or should i put them back in?and if i do will they still reconisge them as their fry?

At this point I'd leave it - the female will get over it and begin the cycle again.

Whatcha gonna do when they they more eggs .

How big are the fry anyway ?

the fry are only a few centimetres so far.

the female and male are starting to take a teritory again so hwn they have eggs again i will most probably give them to my lfs
