ok so ive had fry in their own little tank now for around 2-3 months. some are 1 month, some are about 2 months. and they seem to sort of got stuck, size wise. probably around an inch long but look really small compared to the parents.

is this about right?

What are you feeding the babies on, as they need a varied and good diet to gorw fast.

Also, what size tank are they in. I let my mollies out in the 10 gallon tank after about 3 months and they grew faster than when they were in the breeder net.

they're in a 5gallon at the moment. dont wanna move them into big tank cos weve just had dropsy in there. plus moving house soon. they're being fed liquifry number 3 (baby plus)

At this point they are able to eat flake food, you can crush it up.When I had my fry, I just gave them First Bites by Hikari which they seemed to do very well in. The bigger the tank, the faster they grow. You may want to try changing their diet a little which will also aid in their growth. You could do chopped up bloodworms and brine shrimp (though I did not).

Baby brine shrimp, more frequent water changes and larger tank space make a lot of difference.
