Too much water flow?

This isnt an EMERGENCY but it is urgent, so i didnt knwo where to put this. I have a Biowheel 330 and a H.O.T. Canister filter on my 60 gallon tank. I know the Biowheel is up to 75 gallons, but i was looking for more help from another filter, so i got the H.O.T. canister filter. My water is fine and everything, even without the canister, but the water flwo on top from the canister is a lot it seems. I mean, not many fish go to the top, but i didtn knwo why, and i saw my angel go up an dget pushed byt he curent. I didnt know if it was too much water flow or not, because if it is, then i want to find another way to have a lot of filtering. Also, i have live plants, and i have 4 co2 systems running (for up to 80 gallons of water) and i know water movement dissapates co2 faster, so is this bad with my water flow??? the output nozzel moves, and i was thinking of putting it to face to the other side of the tank, because, but please help with ideas if u have any!!!

so if anyone has any ideas on how to eaither make the H.O.T. canister work with less water movement, or have another idea for a new filter i should get. I am keeping my penguin 330, but i didnt know what else to buy. I have thought about an emporer 400, but what do u suggest?

Check on the bottom of the main forum to see who's online. The mods are highlighted in blue (if you have the default skin) - as far as I can see, CFC is the only one on at the moment. Though do remember that he might not instantly respond as he might just be logged on, but busy elsewhere

i'm using a sponge stuck on the nozel on my fluval 304. works a treat.

If you check the pinned topics in the betta section there's one about filter outflow current killing methods - I think all it uses is a plastic bottle but it works very well.... actually here it is.

I have thought about putting a sponge on the end of my filter, if you think that would work, but the bottle doesnt dound bad. I can do the bottle for my penguin 330, but the H.O.T. Canister system i dont tink would really be able to do the bottle system. So any ideas??? would putting the foam at the end of the outlet help (the water flows in two directions like a < so do i put the foam at the end making the water HAVE to flow through it, or do i put it under it, or what, ideas???
