Hi
I have 2 sets of 2x80W t5s on my tank giving 2.5WPG on a 600l tank.
I had a problem with brown algae starting to grow on plants but it sorted itself out when i cut the light to only running 2 tubes at a time. This morning i set all tubes to some on as i now have co2 injection - when i got back the tops of plants are all brown with algae again, so it looks like too much light
I need advice on what photoperiod to set. 8 hours of 2 tubes with a 'midday' of 4 tubes in the middle, or 4 hours on 2 off and 4 on, all at 4 tubes on.
Can anyone help?
