Too Much Fish For X-mas!

I dreamed last night, that my non-fish-fanatic family gave me 30 guppies for Christmas.

I think I need to come to this forum a little less often.

I thought studying up on my fishes was good for me.

*quietly notes that it 'felt' like a nightmare....

Actually, no, I don't want guppies. I never could get into those brats, but maybe I ought to, if it IS a premonition.

I just thought it was so funny, that my big nightmare for the evening was, "omg my tank is overstocked!!!"

For the past few nights since I've gotten my 55 gallon tank I've been dreaming what it would look like when its filled up with water and has loads of decorations and what not but then I start thinking about how much longer till I get some money to build a stand and get gravel and plants and what not.

Hahaha, I've had dreams like that!
A family friend did give me a betta last Christmas... obviously not that difficult to take care of, but I already had 20+ at the time and another turquoise VT wasn't exactly at the top of my list

You've got that right. I had 2 for Several Years, In seperate tanks and that was Bad Enough.

But on the "BRIGHT SIDE" it was nice having them to feed all the Bugs i caught that made it into my House.

Free Live FOOD, Healthier Fish. The more they got the BIGGER "BRATS" they Became.

I Love OSCAR's, BUT I think I'll Stick with your More Calming Everyday Tropicals.

No I enjoyed the ones I had, Just awhole lot More worry about them Jumping outta the Tank when the Lid was OPEN, or While Cleaning the Tank.

Busted Heaters or Hood Glass etc, etc.

Now this is MY kinda Dream.

My Family giving me MORE Fish, That means another Aquarium, Which I would Love....

But FAT Chance My family tries to Keep me from collecting more Fish n Tanks....

Not that their ANTI Fish, Mind Ya...

Just against having to Go OUTSIDE to Sleep, Because of all the Tanks I want....

Now mind Ya I wouldn't SLEEP Outside, I'd put me a small cot in the Middle of the Room, After All someone has to WATCH OVER them during the Night.

Hmmmmm= More Fish Less Family, Not a Bad idea?

funnily enough i had a really odd dream about fish last night.. i was stocking my tank with fish for the first time, and two fish that I had not ordered suddenly appeared in the tank.. odd..

one looked like a macaw parrot thing that swam around, and the other one was a little purple thing. I must have been thinking about betas flaring up, but the fish in my dream would put these to shame. the little purple one could hold out its arms like a bat (thats odd too) and then a big sheet of purple would fill the whole end of the tank, then the parrot one would spread its wings (wings? odd again)..

looked fantastic, but the first thing i thought in the dream was that, people on the forum said i shouldnt mix these two, i must take one back...

anyone know of a good shrink?
