Too Much Aeration?

I am just curious if there is such a thing as too much aeration.

i am running a 20 g tank w/ an 18 in. long air "stone." the pump it is on is for a 10-30 gal tank.
it creates A LOT of bubbles.

i currently have small praecox rainbow fish & a couple of swordtails.

no one seems to be particularly bothered by it--but they don't "play" in it either.


(i am also running a 40 gal HOB filter b/c the one that came w/ it didn't seem to be enough)

No such thing as too much aeration. Too much flow can be a problem for some fish but an air stone shouldn't cause too many problems.

edit: unless its blowing the fish out the tank.......... LOL!!
