Hi just seeking some quick advice on amount of fish, the tank is 130L and this is what I have at the mo:

2 x Male Guppies
2 x Mollies
2 x Dwarf Gourami
5 x Cherry Barb
2 x Platty
2 x Penguin fish (Thayeria boehlkei)

(Hope i got all names right!)

seems like quite alot, but 9 are very small fish. Is this too many?

Hope not as I am planning on getting a Golden Nugget Pleco soon!

Thanks for help in advance

Not too many at all! :D Golden Nugget Plecos get pretty big... about 35 cm long. I think it would be okay to add him. But if you got one, I wouldn't get any other fish.

Gold nugget plecos get to big. Although they do look very pretty. You should get 4 more penguin tetras, as they are schooling fish, and really you should get another molly and platy, both being females. As you should have 2 or 3 females to one male, but personally I have been fine with pairs, just make sure they have places to hide. If your looking for a plec I strongly recommend a pitbull plec or two, I have two and two bristlenose plecs. There is a big difference, pitbulls are smaller, they are always out unlike most plecs, they literally never hide, they are very sociable and IMO they look better. Don't add to many fish at once though, and remember, it's always best to stay understocked.
