I don't know exactly whats causing it, but i'm assuming co2 bubbles that aren't being absorbed into the water. I have a canister filter with spray bar, so im not getting a lot of surface disruption.

Any ideas on how to get them absorbed? Or what to do to get rid of them?

You sure the Bubbles aren't O2 coming off the plants? Because my surface is sometimes covered in bubbles coming off of my plants.

Do you have a Co2 generator? If not the other possible reason for a lot of surface bubbles is when there's lots of algae.

You could try locating the spray bar so more of surface water is disturbed. This should get rid of the bubbles.
