Can anyone give me a tip on how to dim my lights in my tank???? Theyre far to bright and i was hoping for something with a bit more atmospherenot just a massive blinding light

Cheers Pricey

Changing the wattage of bulb you use is obviously the easiest solution but alternatives include floating plants, both fake and real or some kind of filter over the hood but this can be dangerous if you don't use the right kind of material (may melt or burn).

I'd go for some duckweed(floating plant), that'll dim your lights.

By "lights" I'm assuming you have more than one? Take one out, and see if that helps any  You could also try the techie version - purchase dimmable ballasts and bulbs and wire a variable resistor into your lighting system - not economically a good choice, though.
