Is this the tank in your signature? If so, you need to be doing water changes to get the nitrite down to .25 ppm or lower. While red eye tetras are usually very hardy, angels and plecs aren't and will not do well under those conditions. Also, depending on the type plec you have, he may be unsuited for your tank. Some can grow to well over a foot long.

Another thing that is confusing is that your nitrate went from 5 to zero. Did you do a water change? Nitrate should not drop other than via water changes.

Yes indeed that is my tank in my signature.

Yes indeed I did do a water change.

I am keeping a very close eye on the angels and Mr Pleco and they are all doing well, no signs of anything not being as it should be. They seem very content with their lot at this present time.

Just continue to do water changes (several a day if necessary) to get and keep the ammonia and nitrite down. Even though the fish may not show outward signs of stress or damage, the toxins, particularly nitrite can harm them internally. The water change you did would explain the lack of nitrate but the ammonia and nitrite should have been lowered too.
