Hi all

We have our new male dragon in a divided tank which also houses a female which is being conditioned for spawning. The dragon has some fin damage and we were going to add some aquarium salt or melafix.

Would either be detrimental to the conditioning of the female, and which would be best to use?

Thanks

I use melafix, but slat works equally well.. it shouldnt effect the conditioning..
;)
tell netty too put a few drops of melafix in the spawn tank it keeps the eggs from getting fungus!

Ok will do :good:

Thanks for that Chrissy

Just a quick check.....with the Melafix you only give half the dose don't you??

For bettas use 10 drops of Melafix per gallon. Bettafix has .2% of Melaleuca and requires 48 drops per gallon, where as Melafix has a 1% concentration of Melaleuca. So 10 drops of Melafix=50 drops of Bettafix. :good:

Thanks Monty.....have put some in now so hopefully it will help :good:
