Agreed with Joecoral, chances of pairing up slim, especially as there is no easy way to sex oscars also although Stitch will be introduced into a new teritory, there is likely to be fights between the two oscars (even if they were of equal size, much better to grow young ones up together).
if they're added at the same time i think they'll be fine. oscars are a schooling fish and usually dont mind company even introduced to another when its beenin a tank long term.

Oscars are schooling fish? I think that is false...

Given a good diet and plenty of water changes 1" a month I would say is average. My young oscar is currently doing about that, and I'm not really doing anything special. There are reports of quicker growth, and it depends on the genes of your fish aswell, but I would expect around 1" a month for a young oscar. It slows down alot when they get to around 10-12". So basically you have time to find a new tank.
Just to clarify, oscars are not schooling fish, there are tanks with more than one oscars but these are either huge or on borrowed time. Once a pair forms thats when the trouble will start, or even before.

Mine did an inch per month, easy. Honestly, I think he sprung from an inch to 8in about 6 months. He's slowed down a bunch now though, he's about 9in. I feed mine krill, cichlid pellets, and various kinds of live fish every once in awhile.
