To Oddball Or Not To Oddball.....

I have been considering getting a Bichir for sometime but have only recently had the funds to afford it, however it isn't all straightforward and I am also considering adding to my South American theme with something compatible with Angels, ideally a larger, colourful tetra.

Please read my lionk and you'll see the issues with the Bichirs that I may have but I would love some ideas for soemthing fun to add in with the angels, rams are a no go as my water isn't great for them in my area. I am not too fussed about what other fish I have in my tank at the minute as I am willing to chop and change everything apart from the Angels because they were a birthday present from my Mum

ODD BALLS AND GET A BICHIR ^^ I tried for a week my bichir and angles and they go fine together ^^ just remember anything small enough to fit into the bichirs mouth is classified as, from a bichirs mind point, yummy food!

I put my bichar in with my angels and one morning when I turned on the light, the bichar had an angel fish anal fin in his mouth, and the angel was dragging him around the tank (55gl). These angels are big too. At night they usually rest on the bottom when the bichar is out looking for dinner. I had to move my bichar to another tank with no angels. Again, the bichar was about 6" long, but I would not make them tank mates again.
