Hey all,
I have 3 shubunkin in a "grow" stage in my ten gallon. I needed them to get bigger then the 1 inch they are now ( besides the fact I need it to be spring) before I put them out in my pond. I'm keeping carfull watch on ammonia levels and am very carefull about keeping the tank clean. What I'm wondering is how many water changes is to many?? My tank was cycled before I put them in. I syphon the gravel /water change 45% once a week , and change 15% in between that. Is that to much? Or not enough? My levels are good. But I wasn't sure if the water exchange rate was to much for them??? I hear a ton of bad things about keeping them in small tanks because of the waste, that I was always trying to keep it very clean for them. But I don't want to hurt them. Any thoughts??
