To all you Aussies in the TTF

I am desperate to find a retailer in NSW that sells good size acrylic aquariums, 6ft minimum.

After a long search, I finally sent an email to Tenecor (US co) to ask if they have any Australian distributors, and was given the name of Neptune Aquariums in QLD.

It's a long drive, but I will do it, unless anyone here knows an acrylic aquarium retailer in NSW. Anybody?

I'm sure any good LFS should be able to order you a 6ft acrylic tank, so there should really be no need to go all the way to queensland. Try asking around at your local stores and get them to ring the manufactor, while your there.

But if that dosn't work, it's a great time of year to be in the outback

The reasons I want acrylic is because I want 2 x 8ft & 3 x 6ft tanks. Glass in those sizes would weigh over 100kgs each, where as acrylic is half the weight of glass.

I've phoned dozens of shops, looked for manufacturers etc but get told anyone who made them in the past has gone out of business as it wasn't a popular product.

So now I'm looking at manufacturers in the US & emailing them to see if they have distributors here. It's a pain but we do live in a country that relies on imports
