"Tender Living Care"

Went to a lfs today and picked up three bottles (the limit) of free samples of this stuff.

The paper that came with it says:
It can be used for tank start up (initial bacteria and nitrogenous compounds) to be added weekly
Also to maintain the bacteria cultures in the tank
To replenish bacteria cultures after medicating the tank

Have you guys any idea if this stuff works? Any side affects for the fish or levels in the water?

Thanks

It sounds like Stress Zyme, which I used when I was beginning to keep fish. Some people say they never cycle a tank or do a water change without it, but I didn't notice it did anything to my tank at all. Bascially, it is supposed to contain live bacteria, but I think I remember reading that unless the conditions in your tank are perfect, the "bottled" bacteria will not be able to survive after adding some of the liquid into the tank. -_-

The bottles say nothing on that, but the suggested bottle temperature is 75F.

I guess it wouldn't hurt to pour a tad bit onto the new filter floss when I replace my filter media.
