Right now I'm guessing my betta is still getting used to it (hehe look at that little mirror i put there, adorable)

any suggestions on making it better so my fish would like it? thanks.

also, I know it looks stupid with thqat wooden fish there but hey, at least it makes more sense than that elephant version

How many gallons does your tank hold?? It looks nice :good:
Do you leave the mirror there all the time?? Or do you take it away after a while?

well it doesn't seem to notice it

I'll take it away soon, I don't want it to get mad

I don't even think my bowl holds a gallon :look:

Well your tank looks like it has quite a large opening at the top. Bettas are known jumpers and many have died this way by jumping out of their container with out a lid. I suggest getting a lid for the top of that, be sure there is air that is able to get through as bettas have a labyrinth type of breathing.

A gallon is usually the minimum size for a betta as they can get quite large. Up to 3.5 inches and don't forget about that long flowy tail of thiers...

Also be sure to not feed to much as their stomach is not much larger then their eye. Also if you feed bloodworms only feed as a treat once a week.

Also like you said you'll remove the mirror, but you don't want it there all the time as this can easily stress a fish out and make him more suceptible to disease.

Good Luck!
