I made this up just in the last 10 mins.
Used one of Hoddy's 1.5 Gallon Glass Cubes.
Mix of sand, gravel, quartz, pebbles and stones and shale.
Planted with Hygro, Creeping Jenny and A Weeping Moss Background.
Light by a 9Watt Halogen Desk Lamp
And his Mystery Freind who just flew in the Open Window and perched itself on the ivy. Can Anyone ID him as mother loves it and wants to keep it alive.

I used to keep the Caribbean land hermits (known locally as "soldier crabs.") I actually caught a big one, and a few smaller guys too. The only problem was I couldn't find shells for any of them and no pet stores sell them on island, so I ended up just setting them free where I found them.

I bet you already know, but hermits like to be kept with more then one species. They like to interact with each other. And it's always a good excuse to get him (and you :p ) a new friend.

yep tha main hermit cracb has 5 i there of diffferent species small golf ball to tennis ball sized.
Tiny is on his own as he is a 1/5 of thre size and the bit the tips of his legs off so he finds it hard to climb around.
He actually Ended Up changing Shells 3 times yesterday afternoon, so i put him in a cube with 10 shells untill he was ready. bless him he actually chose the shell i wanted him to be in. Custard/Brown/Red marbling and just his size. he is still getting used to a much bigger and heavier shell bless him                   i will be getting him a few more friends of his size when they arrive on wednesday next week from the suppliers.

tims cute.
does the moth just stay in the cube with him w/o a top on? thats so cool!

The Moth Landed in the Cube to drink Water and just moves around every so often. but i woke up an hour ago and tiny has eaten him. oh well at least i know what to do with all the dead moths in the net curtains.

His home is very nice, good luck with his little friend!

Thanks they are so addictive each with its own disting characteristics.
