Hey all,

I've got a 5 gallon tank with a large driftwood piece, eco-complete substrate, 3 Anubias nanas, 1 Valisnaria, and one Java fern. Fish wise, I've got three Kuhli Loaches and one Betta named Biggie Smalls. There's also a declining Snail population (I think my loaches are snarfing them up)

Before I added Biggie to the tank, and tot his day, I keep seeing these tiny, 1/16th of an inch long brown 'cylinders' for lack of a better word. I vacuum the tank weekly, and I get quite a bit of them out, but they're always back in a day or two. They seem to mostly be on the driftwood and Anubias plants.

Any ideas? Is this loach poop or snail poop?

I'll try to take a picture next week if my description can't shed any light on the matter.

Thanks!

?.. i dont think it could be anything esle? unless its moving

its obvious snail poop

Hmm... Here's the thing though, the snail population is WAY down but the amount of 'poop' is just as much as ever. Do your guys' snail produce a whole bunch of poop too? IT's frustrating because the tank is at work so I can't just clean it more often.

Thanks,
Chris
