Tiny Plant Making Me Sad

I have these in my tank, and the new groth is great, but there's to much yellow for my taste in this plant. Anyone have any suggestions on how to remidy this?

Also my ID has failed and I don't know what plant this is anymore.

Another thing I'm slightly worried about is, what looks like brown algea on the glass (and some of my plants) I couldnt find it in the algea section.

That looks like Glossostigma to me.
