Tiny Fish- Loud and Proud!

A friend sent me this article about Danionella cerebrum- a tiny fish that can produce sounds up to 140 decibels- louder than a jet airplane taking off!!!

It's 10mm-12mm and lives in "turbid waters" in Myranmar.

@WhistlingBadger - forget frogs, get you some of these for your palladium!

I wonder if the sound would mess with other fish?

Have any of you ever seen this? I doubt it's one that's in the hobby, but how cool!

I like talking fish, having kept sparkling gouramis and a few botia loaches that will talk things over. A shouting fish might be a bit much, though. ha ha
