tin foil barb question

Can anyone tell me if tinfoil barbs are live bearers or egg layers as my female has gone very fat over the last week.

LOL have u ever heard of a barb that is a live bearer

i thot it was impossible to breed these fish without hormone injections

edit: yes it is entirely impossible!
